The 7th of January every year is a reminder of the collective efforts of the great people and entrepreneurs of the country’s electricity industry to establish one of the largest and most reputable companies for the export of technical and engineering services, who use their capacities and capabilities to develop and prosper the country. This small seedling has now become a 27-year-old tree and is growing taller and more fertile every day.
Today, while celebrating the 27th anniversary of the establishment of Iran Water and Power Industries Equipment and Services Export Company (Sunir), this company in the last two years, by the grace of God and thanks to the support and guidance of dear shareholders and esteemed board members and efforts and the continued cooperation of esteemed managers and colleagues has taken long and effective steps in solving the problems and advancing the company’s affairs and has achieved valuable results and accomplishments, including the permanent delivery of a number of projects (in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan and Ethiopia) and ongoing project management, including Armenia Third Transmission Line, Al-Amara Power Plant, Dibis Power Plant in Iraq and Tanzania Substation in hard times of COVID-19 pandemic as well as trust building in the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Mine and Trade, more transparency in financial statements, establishment of continuous communication with domestic and international producers.
Sunir Company, with its successful presence in neighboring countries, regions and some areas of Asian, African and Central American countries, has strengthened the relations between our beloved country Iran and those countries by carrying out projects on time, in addition to gaining the satisfaction of the employer. I ask God Almighty for the happiness, health, durability and success of those who work in the field of exporting technical and engineering services, so that we can celebrate brilliant times in the name of Iran.
