The construction project of 220 KV Dadu-Khuzdar transmission line and 132/220 KV Khuzdar substation was signed in 2010 between Sunir Company and the Pakistani Employer (NTDC Company) in order to increase the electricity capacity of Baluchistan province of Pakistan and related executive activities were started and despite numerous problems such as long delays in LC opening and also delays in payments due to bank sanctions, the transmission line was successfully energized on June 8, 2014 and delivered to the client on August 25, 2015, and the first & second bays were energized respectively on June 8, 2014 and March 7, 2015, and delivered to the client on August 26, 2015, but due to the non-completion of the executive activities of the Khuzdar substation department during the warranty period (removing of defects), the permanent delivery of these two projects was not materialized. During the past few years, after the electrification of the line and substation, due to banking problems caused by the embargo and the inability to receive money and as a result the lack of liquidity, it was not possible to carry out the remaining activities to fix the defects for a while, but fortunately, since 2019, this company decided to carry out the remaining executive activities to fix the remaining defects of the project with new management and financial planning. In this regard, with the presence of representatives of Sunir Company in Pakistan and holding meetings with various managers of the employer as well as visiting the project site, the remaining executive activities were started and so far 80% of the defects have been fixed and all the remaining cases will be resolved within two days of power outage to be grated by the employer this week and the result of these activities is the issuance of Completion Acceptance Certificate and Operational Acceptance Certificate for the two mentioned projects completely (the mentioned documents were recently issued by the employer) and the issuance of these documents means the final delivery of the project to the employer. Sunir’s commitment to complete these two projects, especially to fix the remaining defects in the substation part, as well as the electrification of the Khuzdar line and substation, and the absence of the smallest technical problem during the operation, have been the effective factors of the Pakistani employer’s high confidence in Sunir as an employer. The result of this satisfaction was the re-notification of the Pakistan Gwadar project to Sunir Company, which resulted in the complete implementation of the first part of the 220 kV Gwadar transmission line in the shortest possible time (5 months), which satisfied and pleased the Prime Minister’s Office of Pakistan as well as the Ministry of Energy of Pakistan and God willing, this transmission line will be electrified and put into operation in the coming days.
