According to the public relations report of Sunir Company, on Friday, August 27th 2021, Mansur Saeedi, CEO, along with Behzad Nadalian, a member of the Board of Directors of Sunir Company, visited the third power transmission line project and the Noravan 400/220 kV substation in Armenia.
During the visit to substation, significant progress was seen compared to the last two months. In this regard, in the construction of the south side wall of the project and also the 400 and 220 kV section cable ducts, as well as the installation of control and guard rooms have been completed. It is worth mentioning that in the equipment installation section, power switches and disconnectors and current and voltage transformers have also been installed.
In the transmission line section, significant improvements have been made, including wiring more than 40 km of the line, concreting the foundations base of more than 50 towers, installing more than 90 towers and constructing access roads for the towers.
It is hoped that by coming to operation the third line project and also possibility of importing electricity, a large part of the country’s electricity shortage will be solved.
