According to the public relations report, Sunir Company proudly announces that it has succeeded in signing a contract to build a 100 MW solar power plant along with the relevant substation and 9 km of transmission line in the Kibwezi region of Kenya. This contract was signed with the participation of Sunir and with the aim of connecting to the national grid of Kenya and for the purpose of selling electricity to the investor company.
This project, which is planned to be implemented in 18 months, is the result of extensive negotiations between representatives of Sunir Company and One Energy Ltd., and has been finally approved given the company’s successful history in implementing large projects in East African countries.
It is worth noting that this is Sunir’s first collaboration with Kenya, but the company has previously been able to complete and deliver prominent projects in other countries in the region, such as Ethiopia and Tanzania. These successes have solidified Sunir’s position as one of the leading companies in the energy industry on the African continent.
With a focus on using new technologies and a commitment to sustainable development, Sunir hopes this project will be a milestone in the path of future cooperation with Kenya and other countries on the continent.
