Despite the situation caused by the outbreak of corona-virus and regional tensions between the countries of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, the implementation processes and equipment supply of the third power transmission line and Noravan substation in Armenia are still in full swing.
In order to review the latest project conditions and expedite and facilitate executive operations and equipment imports, a meeting was held on Wednesday, Oct. 14th 2020 (07/23/1399) in the form of a video conference between Mansour Saeedi, CEO of Sunir, and Hayek Haroutonian, CEO of HVEN. In this meeting, a report was given on the delivery of main equipment, including transformers, switches, busbar pipes and wires. Due to the non-accessibility of some areas for work, including lands in the restricted area, it will not be possible to complete the project on time without the serious assistance of HVEN, and the company promised to cooperate in resolving the problems.
Both side also stressed the needs for extension of the contract for one more year, and speed up the finalization of the discussion of increasing the financing share of the Export Development Bank of Iran. Also the exchange of agreements for the purchase of “protection relays”.
